This training aims to introduce participants to the safety principles and assessment approaches related to the layout of equipment, process units, and buildings in industrial facilities. Fundamental concepts regarding the understanding of risks associated with facility layout and the evaluation of risk reduction options are covered. The training content has been prepared considering the Seveso approach, national regulatory requirements, and the good practice guidelines published by API RP 752/753 and CCPS.
